Newer wave art riot Tuesday 4th December.
Garage rock’s “three is the magic number” tips, The Cosmics and The C33s hit The Music People Party 2018, with more HOT contenders to announce.
Ones To Watch 2019 (on and off stage) populate famed London music boozer, The Monarch with an element of escapism when a swathe of the new arts renaissance unite for a joyous music social. 40-42 Chalk Farm Road, NW1 8BG. 7-11pm SHOWTIME then afterparty bar’n’tunes until 1am
Last January we exclaimed “The Cosmics make fab noise pop that is so raw, it’s got scabs on. Their scuzzy punk debut, ‘Johnny’ is a thing of beauty.” Check out the video now heading for 27,000 views:
New single, ‘Trust Is Blind’ is released (and launched live in Birmingham) 30th November. Ambitious and startling, this (relateable to many) song is a cathartic journey, from angelic ballad to a screaming purple hazed frustration of glorious guitar fuelled madness.
A dramatic step on. Laden with fierce tunes, the band are swelling a credible reputation which earned a Glastonbury Festival appearance/BBC TV in 2017 and many cool appearances in 2018). Musically impressive, increasingly iconic and glam tinted to (kinky) boot, The Cosmics are a perfectly named star turn.

Witness the London debut of Britain’s newest (born this February!) hot fuzzy fizz, The C33s. (“C three threes”)
Debut EP ‘48 Hours At Neon Palms‘ shook up Summer on BBC Introducing and Amazing Radio. 70’s inspired garage gutter punk, with hints of The Cramps and The B52s delivered with modern ideas and Manc attitude. Recorded mostly live over two days, it’s an explosion of sonic temper that proves that raw, uncompromising rock n roll is alive and kicking. Melodies and hooks don’t take a backseat.
The C33s‘ first gig was October in Manchester. Armed with limited t shirts and cassettes but unlimited presence, they left a packed and WOWED venue with dropped jaws and have landed exciting new gigs already.
We are looking forward to these astounding live sets. That’s just the half of it. Stay tuned for more news.
TheZineUK is a story of music movement under the radar with a rising tide of names making their mark on Art Culture.
We never know what will happen next, but it’s never dull, always socially inclusive and we can’t believe what some of our previous tips have achieved already.
There’s a lot of Woman Power in the New Music Industrious – our Monarch host, Monefa(leopard print possibly in evidence this very evening!), Katie O and Fahima at #TGE18 weekend (with one of our co pros, Kick Out The Jams).
Jan 2017 “ living in an (austerity inflicted) golden age of pop culture classics.” We repeat, The Future Stars Are Here Now. Dec 2017 The Music People Party episode 1 (below) then a co-pro with Modern Age Music “a next level for guitar music”. TheZineUK is 5 next Spring. Tonight’s kick off may get debauched. Again.
