This week is another busy one for us #Zeenagers… There are of course too many adventures to list, but our recommended highlights this week are:
Tonight, the gorgeously talented Gabi Garbutt and The Illuminations have their album launch for the intriguingly named ‘The Discredited Language of Angels’ at The Slaughtered Lamb. Gabi always gives an electrical performance, like a London Patti Smith only with shampooed hair. To top it off, the album itself is produced by #Zeenage legend Sean Read. Thursday sees This Feeling and Pirate Studios teaming up to Present their #PirateProdigies – Starring the Elly Bailey recommended Spilt Milk Society, Crystal, Peeping Drexels at The Water Rats. You can get FREE ENTRY tickets at This Feeling. Now That’s What I call a BARGAIN.
Friday is a headrush for us #Zeenagers with Feral Five releasing the sexy as hell tune, EGO (you lucky buggers can already listen to it here). You’ll have it on rotation on your playlist by the weekend. Guaranteeeeeed. Velvet Hands also release This Feeling. It’s 70’s Rock n Roll made for the 21st Century. On Saturday, our very own Monefa Walker shows just how multitalented she is, along with friends at Highgate Reformed Church for Musicians Against Homelessness. Not only will you get a range of classical to contemporary pieces to wet your whistle, but Monefa has also invited the delectable Louise Scholfield along to compère. It’s going to be such a treat.
