This week, we are Zeenagers about the town, starting tonight, when we catch ZineUK Darhlings The Velvet Hands at their SOLD OUT This Feeling show at Roadtrip & The Workshop in Old Street. (FYI: This is the first of many all over the UK can check here for when you can see ’em!) Support comes from Stanley Duke & The Kindred Spirits and those other #ZeenageDaydreams The Rezner. If you were lucky enough to get tickets, you’re gonna be bragging about this one to your mates for ages.

Yeah, talking of This Feeling (Which I am, a lot!*), on Wednesday, we hop up the country for when ALIVE! kicks off in Sheffield with Sugarthief, The Estevans, Hourglvss, Kicklips. Thursday, We’re back in the WERKHOUSE with Werkhaus Presents: BUTE, White Tips, & The Keepers. I’m sure I don’t have to keep telling you about the talent that Sahara has for finding new talent, let your ears see the proof in East London. Details HERE.

Friday – Sees a return for Amy Studt, the Brit Pop anthem maker of our teens returns with a darker album for us misfits ‘The Happiest Girl in The World, made with Hatcham Social’s Toby Kidd. We’re also planning a few Ginny Tinnys on the Oxford Tube to go and see Smiley & The Underclass play at the Wheatsheaf. Honestly Smiley & The Underclass are one band you HAVE to see live. It’s raw, it’s Nouveau Joe Strummer meets Dylan playing for our extinction rebellion. Support comes from Pandapopalypse and Screamin’ Irene. Details HERE.

On Saturday, we’ll be catching the new face of British Mod, Emily Capell at her album launch show for the FANTASTIC album Combat Frock. We cannot get enough of Emily, come down and you’ll see what we mean. It’s at the Camden Assembly – full details HERE. Or of course, you can catch your dose of This Feeling at The Water Rats feat. Cavalcade, The Point, The RingardsNorthern Friends, might wanna catch the AWEsome Sheafs at Night & Day, with support from Lynchs, Tinfoils, Manalishi. Expect a frenzy protest like gig. Sunday brings the New Cross Record Fair Launch, where we hope to find some new sounds to tickle our fancy. With the added bonus that we could hope over the road to the New Cross Inn for a second dose Smiley & The Underclass (Where they support Hotsteppas), the rest of us are heading north to Nambucca for Marisa and The Moths, Heartworms and Nocontent. This line-up promises to be one for those ‘I saw them first’ enthusiasts. Tickets HERE.
